Jharkhand: Woman commits suicide, husband dies of heart attack in Dhanbad

Dhanbad/UNI: A woman committed suicide under Dhansar Police Station area of this district following which her husband died off cardiac arrest.

Police today said that Reena Devi, a resident of Chandmari rail line committed suicide yesterday night. Her husband Amarjit who was at the spot suffered from cardiac arrest and was taken to the nearby hospital where he was declared dead by the doctors.

Both the bodies were sent for post-mortem today.

The couple have two daughters.

The relatives said that Amarjit had become unemployed during lockdown while Reena Devi use to sell bangles but since the economic condition of the family was not good, the woman committed suicide.
