Jharkhand: Tribal girl gang raped in Godda

Godda/UNI: A tribal girl was gang raped in Lalghutwa village under Lalmatia Police Station area in this district.

Police today said that the girl alongwith her male friend was going for sight seeing last evening when they were caught by two-three youths.

The male friend of the girl was beaten and scared away after which the girl was gang raped. Somehow the girl managed to escape from their clutches and reached the village. This morning the girl registered her complaint at the police station.

Mahgama DSP Virendra Chowdhary said that raids are on to nab the culprits.
