Jharkhand: Kolkata STF busts mini gun factory in Dumka

Kolkata: A special task force of Kolkata Police with the support of Dumka Police has busted a mini gun factory being operated in Saruwa village under Muffasil Police Station area, a police official on Saturday said.

In this connection six people including a woman have been arrested. Police said that the mini gun factory was being operated in an under construction double storey building in the village.

From the spot 25 pistol of 7mm, half manufactured guns and machines required in manufacturing the weapons have been recovered.

Police sources in Dumka said that one Rajendra Pradad alias Maqbool Hussain was caught by police and based on the information provided by him this action has been taken.

The police official said that a 15 member team of Kolkata Police had reached Dumka to execute the arrest.

Huge quantity of iron bars have been also recovered from the spot.
