Jharkhand: Girl dies in home quarantine in Khunti

Khunti/UNI:  In what may turn out to be a case of death caused due to Covid-19, a girl who was kept in home quarantine in Marcha village under Rania block of this district has passed away.

The body of the 18-year old girl on Monday morning was brought for post-mortem at Sadar Hospital. Khunti Civil Surgeon Dr Prabhat Kumar said that the sample of the deceased has been sent for Coronavirus test, further additional care would be adopted in conducting the post-mortem.

The father of the deceased girl said that his daughter had returned home 11 days before from Jehanabad of Bihar. After returning, she was made to undergo medical tests at Torpa and was directed to remain in home quarantine where late Sunday night she passed away.
