Jharkhand Crime: 'Half-naked' body of girl found from paddy field in Dumka

Dumka/UNI: Body of a young woman was found from a paddy field some distance away from railway tracks under Shikaripada Police Station area of this district.

The face of the girl has been disfigured, apparently with a stone. It is being suspected that the girl was first raped and later murdered and the body was thrown in the farm.
Police said the villagers spotted the body early morning.

Upon receiving information a police team reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem.

The identity of the victim who is in her twenties was yet to be ascertained.
