Jharkhand: Bus accident kills 11

Hazaribhagh, Jun 10 (UNI) At least 11 people lost their lives, while 22 were injured, when a Ranchi-bound bus collided with a truck at Danua valley, falling under Chouparan police station in this Jharkhand district on Monday.

According to police sources, the bus collided with a truck, leading to on-the-spot death of seven people, while 26 people were injured. The injured were admitted to a Chouparan hospital, where four people succumbed to their injuries, thus increasing the death toll to 11.

Senior police officials have reached the accident site, while more details were awaited.

The deceased were yet to be identified, the sources added.
