Jaya Prada likely to join BJP

| | Jan 15, 2015, at 11:05 pm
New Delhi, Jan 15 (IBNS) After former IPS officer Kiran Bedi, film star Jaya Prada is likely to join the Bharaitya Janata Party soon.

The former Samajwadi Party Loke Sabha member said on Thursday that she was 'thinking' about joining the saffron party.

"Let's hope. I am thinking," she told NDTV.

"I worked with Chandrababu Naidu and  Mulayam Singh Yadav for 16 years. But my experience with Mulayam Singh Yadav is not very healthy. They barred me from entering Rampur, from where I was elected twice," she said.

Lauding Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a person 'a lot different' from Yadav, Jaya Prada said: " He tries to fulfil the commitments he makes to the people."
