Jammu and Kashmir: Three killed, 8 injured in Doda road mishap

Jammu/UNI: Three persons were killed and eight others injured when a taxi they were traveling in met with an accident in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Police here said that this afternoon at about 1420 hours one taxi (JK06-5717) on its way from Doda towords Hambal met with an accident.

Three persons died on the spot, police said adding that eight others suffer injuries.

The deceased were identified as Ishtiyaq Ahmed,35, son of Mohd Akram, Om Raj, 41, son of Prem Lal and Mohd Ayoob,25, son of Saidullah, residents of Sulta, Hambal, Doda.

Injured persons namely Ram Parshad,46, Suresh Kumar,33, Jameela Begum,25, Geeta Devi,35, Manu Devi,38, Priksha Devi,12, Naima Banoo,3, have been shifted to GMC Doda for treatment.
