Jammu and Kashmir: police arrest drug peddler, recover 77 kgs of poppy straw in Pulwama
Srinagar/UNI: Jammu and Kashmir police arrested a drug peddler and recovered poppy straw in south Kashmir district of Pulwama on Friday, a police spokesman said.
He said a naka was established in Awantipora in Pulwama district by police today.
During the checking a drug peddler was arrested after 77 kgs of poppy straw was recovered from his possession.
He has been shifted to police station Awantipora, Spokesman said adding he is being questioned.
