Jammu and Kashmir: Pakistan violates ceasefire on LoC in Rajouri

Jammu, Apr 5 (UNI) Pakistan troops on Friday yet again violated the ceasefire by firing unprovoked along the Line of Control in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.

“Pakistani troops this afternoon at around 1440 hours fired unprovoked and shelled forward villages in Nowshera sector of Rajouri,” official sources here said.

They said that Indian Army effectively retaliating to the cross border firing while no injury have been reported so far.

Last week, a BSF jawan was martyred while two others including a girl and a woman had died, 12 civilians suffered injuries as Pakistan violated the ceasefire and fired unprovoked by targeting forward villages along the Line of Control in Poonch district.
