Jammu and Kashmir: One terrorist killed in encounter in Goosu village

Srinagar: One unidentified terrorist was killed during an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Goosu village on Tuesday, officials said.

The identity of the terrorist is still not known.

"#PulwamaEncounterUpdate: So far 01 #unidentified #terrorist killed. Operation going on. Further details shall follow. @JmuKmrPolice," Kashmir Zone Police tweeted.

Police sources told Times Now that there are three terrorists trapped in the area and they belong, most likely to the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM).

Jammu and Kashmir has witnessed several encounters between security forces and terrorists in recent times.
