Jammu and Kashmir: Blacksmith dies, 3 others injured in gas cylinder blast in Pulwama

Srinagar/UNI: A blacksmith died and three others were injured in a gas cylinder blast at Awantipora in south Kashmir district of Pulwama on Sunday.

Official sources said the gas cylinder exploded at a blacksmith workshop at Awantipora in Pulwama on Sunday afternoon, resulting in injuries to four people , including the owner.

“The injured were immediately taken to a hospital, where the blacksmith was declared brought dead,” they said.

They said health condition of the other three is stated to be stable. “After completing all the legal and medical formalities, the body of the deceased, identified as Mohammad Ismail, was handed over to his relatives for last rites,” they added.
