It's last day at work for PM Manmohan Singh

New Delhi, May 13 (IBNS) On his last day at work as the Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh on Tuesday will chair a Cabinet meeting, after which he will meet his staff at his office in the South Block of the Secretariat, said reports.

He will also host a farewell for his officers at his official residence at 7, Race Course Road.

According to reports, Congress president Sonia Gandhi will host a farewell dinner for Singh on Wednesday.

 India's 13th prime minister will demit office on Saturday, a day after the Lok Sabha election results will be announced.
 
However, he will continue with his political life as a Rajya Sabha member.
 
 The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) might get a majority in the Lok Sabha, exit poll said.

According to the India Today Group-Cicero exit poll the BJP-led NDA might get  261-283 seats while the ruling Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) might get 110 to 120 seats and others get 150 to 162 seats.
