Injured woman carried to hospital in a hand-pulled-cart
Guwahati, May 14 (IBNS): An injured woman was forced to be taken to a hospital in a hand-pulled-cart in Assam’s Kamrup district due to lack proper road connectivity.
The incident happened at Rangeswari village near Nagarbera on Monday.
According to the reports, the woman had been stuck by lightning during rain and storm lashed many parts of the state and she was injured.

Due to lack of proper road connectivity in her village, the family members of the woman were forced to carry her in a hand-pulled-cart to reach the hospital.
The family members had admitted her in Nagarbera hospital, where her treatment is going on.

The family members of the injured woman said that, there is no proper road connectivity in their village, for which the ambulance couldn’t be reached.

“My daughter-in-law was injured in lightning stuck. There is no proper connectivity facility and no ambulance service in our area. So we were forced to carry her in a hand-pulled-cart,” a family member said.
