Himachal Pradesh: Bus falls into gorge, kills 20

Shimla, July 29 (IBNS): At least 20 people were killed and seven injured when a bus fell into a 400 m deep gorge in Kadhar Ghat​ in Basantpur area on Tuesday, reports said.
The Himachal Road Transport Corporation bus, carrying over 30 people, was on its way from Shimla to Sawerakhud, media reports said.
 
The injured persons have been taken to a nearby hospital.
 
Chief minister Virbhadra Singh reportedly asked the Shimla district administration to conduct the relief and rescue operations on a war footing.
