Hate, violence, exclusion weakening country: Rahul Gandhi after JNU incident
New Delhi/IBNS: Congress top leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday called out the "hate", "violence" and "exclusion" in the country after a clash broke out over the Hindu festival Ram Navami in Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).
Gandhi, a Lok Sabha MP, tweeted without taking anyone's name, "Hate, violence and exclusion are weakening our beloved country. The path to progress is paved with the bricks of brotherhood, peace and harmony. Let’s stand together to secure a just, inclusive India."

As per reports, a clash occurred in the mess when non vegetarian food was being served to the students.
The injured include members from the JNU Students' Union (JNUSU) and Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad or ABVP, the two groups who were involved in the clash.
Police said they have filed a First Information Report (FIR) on the basis of a complaint lodged by the members of JNUSU, Students' Federation of India (SFI), Democratic Students' Federation (DSF) and All India Students Association (AISA) against unknown ABVP students.
The JNUSU has alleged that the members of the ABVP, which is the students' wing of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangha (the ideological parent of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Bharatiya Janata Party), had stopped students from eating non-veg food and created a violence.
The ABVP too has said it will file a complaint with the police.
Both sides have accused each other of throwing stones and injuring their members.
Police said they rushed to the campus after receiving a call and ensured no escalation of the situation.
