Gaya: Police recover two IEDs a day before poll

Gaya, Apr 10 (UNI) A day ahead of first phase of Lok Sabha election, a joint team of CRPF`s Cobra battalion and district police recovered two IEDs and a country bomb near Chhakarbanda Middle School under Dumaria block area in the naxal dominated Gaya district today.

Senior police superintendent Rajiv Mishra said here that two IEDs and a crude bomb were recovered near the Middle School during special search operation launched in view of Lok Sabha election. He said Cobra battalion`s bomb disposal squad defused both IEDs and crude bomb.

Mishra said that extremists of ultra left outfit CPI (Maoist) left some objectionable pamphlets on the spot asking people to boycott poll.
