Four people of a family die in Sumo-truck collision in Assam’s Karbi Anglong

Guwahati/IBNS: At least four persons of a family killed and two others were injured in Tata Sumo-truck collision in Assam’s Karbi Anglong district on Monday evening.

The incident took place on National Highway-39 at Baghjan area under Bokajan Police Station.

According to the reports, the family hailing from Nagaland’s Longleng district was heading towards Dimapur to attend a marriage function.

The Tata Sumo vehicle collided head-on with a truck coming from opposite direction.

Four persons who were travelling in the Tata Sumo vehicle died on spot while two others injured in the incident.

Locals immediately rushed the injured persons at Bokajan Primary Health Centre.

The deceased persons were identified as Poksham, Aabong, Kandat and Yongkai.
