Ranchi, May 21 (IBNS) The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday said they have arrested four suspected Indian Mujahideen (IM) members from Ranchi in Jharkhand in connection to the 2013 Patna blasts.

The arrested men have been identified as Haider, Numan, Taufeeq, and Muzibullah. They were absconding since the blasts took place.

The NIA said the four men planned and executed the blasts along with IM chief Tehseen Akhtar, who was arrested in March.

On 27 October 2013, a series of bomb blasts rocked Patna city of Bihar at a massive election rally for BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.

Of the estimated 300,000 participants at the "Hunkar" rally, six people were killed and 85 others were injured in eight bomb blasts.
