Former BJP MP Satyadeo Singh passes away at the age of 75

Gonda/UNI: Senior BJP leader and two time MP from Balrampur Satyadeo Singh died at a private hospital in Gurugram early Thursday morning.

He was aged 75.

Singh had won his battle with Coronavirus after his wife succumbed to the virus 12 days back.

The former MP suffered a massive heart attack on hearing the death of his wife and was rushed to the hospital, where he succumbed this morning, family members said.

Singh's wife Saroj Rani was the chairman of the Gonda district panchayat.

The deceased was twice elected to Lok Sabha from Balrampur in 1991 and 1996. He was also the president of BJP Yuva Morcha from 1980 to 1985.

Senior BJP leader and state vice president Vijay Bahadur Pathak along with others have expressed their condolence on the sudden demise of the leader.
