Fire breaks commercial building in Ahmedabad, several rescued
Ahmedabad, June 12 (UNI) At least 100 people were rescued to safety in Prahaladnagar area of the city on Wednesday afternoon when a fire broke out in a five storied commercial building.
A fire official said that the fire broke out on the fourth floor of the five storied Timber point building situated near Prahlad Nagar garden off 100 ft road.
15 fire fighting vehicles of the fire division of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation rushed to the spot quickly and it was doused.
