FIR lodged against Samajwadi Party leader Vikas Yadav over hate poster

Lucknow/UNI: An FIR was lodged against Samajwadi Party leader Vikas Yadav for allegedly putting up 'hate poster' against Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and other BJP leaders, police said on Wednesday.

Vikas Yadav is the general secretary of Samajwadi Chatra Sabha and his name also seen on the poster.

The FIR has been lodged by the police at Hazratganj police station.

The poster appeared in the legislators' housing complex in the state capital showed 'atrocities' against Brahmins by chief minister Yogi Adityanath who was seen holding an axe.

Behind the CM, deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya is also seen along with other leaders.

However in the poster, SP president Akhilesh Yadav was seen posing as 'saviour' of the people who are suffering due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

Vikas Yadav is likely to be arrested soon.
