Female journalist shot at in East Delhi

New Delhi, Jun 23 (UNI) A woman journalist was allegedly shot at by unknown people in Vasundhara Enclave area Delhi in the wee hours on Sunday.

The woman journalist Mitali Chandola is stable now.

According to police, the incident took place around 0030 hrs when she was on her way to home in Noida. Her car was overtaken by another vehicle near the Dharmshila Hospital in the Vasundhara Enclave area, following which the unidentified men fired upon her, hurled eggs on the windshield of her car and fled from the scene.

After receiving a PCR call, police rushed to the spot where they found that the woman has received bullet injuries in the arm and she was immediately rushed to the hospital.

Investigation is on.
