Father, two children die after fire engulfs Delhi multi-storied building

At least three people, including two children, died after jumping from a fire-engulfed a multi-storied apartment in New Delhi's Dwarka area on Tuesday.

The fire was first reported at around 10 am from the top floor of the building.

Sources told India Today that after the fire broke out, two children and their father jumped from the seventh floor of the building to escape the fire.

Locals rushed the three persons to a nearby hospital, where they were declared dead.

Eight fire engines rushed to the spot and they are currently trying to bring the flames under control.

Two to three people are still believed to be trapped inside the apartment.
