Farmer and two others killed in Bihar

Samastipur, May 25 (UNI) Unidentified criminals killed a farmer and two others and looted Rs 2 lakh from the director of a bank`s customer service point under various police station areas in the district during the last 12 hours.

Police said that criminals stabbed the farmer Ramchandra Singh (54) to death when he was fast asleep outside his house at Singhia Ghat village under Vibhutipur police station area this morning.

Similarly, outlaws killed a 50-year old person Amin Manik Lal Mahto at Kapan village under the same police station area by hitting his head with a hammer.

In another incident, police recovered the body of a 30-year old labourer under Mohanpur police outpost area.

Prime facie it appeared that criminals stabbed the labourer to death and dumped his body in the water filled ditch with the intention of concealing the evidence. The body has been sent to Samastipur Sadar Hospital for autopsy.

Similarly, armed criminals looted Rs 2 lakh from the manager of a bank’s customer service point Rajesh Kumar near Mishroulia village under Vibhutipur police station area.
