Face mask is the only medicine until COVID-19 cure is found: Arvind Kejriwal
New Delhi/UNI: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Friday that wearing a face mask is the only medicine for COVID until a treatment is found.
Addressing the people while inauguration of a development work here Kejriwal said that mask is the biggest safeguard against the COVID-19 virus spread till there is a medicine available for it.
He asked the people of the city to transform the wearing of masks into a mass movement and make sure everyone wears a mask as only this can save everyone form the pandemic.
If the disease becomes unmanageable, it can lead to a person's death, and wearing a mask therefore is very important precaution.
He said that the people of Delhi has driven away two waves of the pandemic and currently reeling under the third wave of the disease, this will also be over soon.
He said, 'Many of us feel that they will not contract COVID the virus does not differentiate between any individual regardless of financial stature, age, gender,' and therefore, we all need to turn wearing of masks into a movement as this can save people from COVID.
