Eight members of a family killed in road mishap in Bihar

Bagaha, Apr 6 (UNI) Eight members of a family including three children were killed and 10 others injured when their pick-up van was hit by a truck near Bargajwa roundabout on Ramnagar-Lauria main road under Ramnagar police station area in West Champaran district today.

Police said here that eight members of one Nurul Hoda`s family were killed on the spot when their vehicle was hit by the truck after its driver lost control over his vehicle due to high speed. Sources said the deceased were identified as Shahabun Nesa (45), Shakil Ali (25), Gulnaz Khatoon (18), Babu (18), Arbaz (11), Shabina Khatoon (7), Ragula Khatoon (75) and Muskan (7).

Police said that the deceased were natives of Yogia village under Ramnagar police station area in the district. The injured had been admitted to a local hospital.
