Eastern Command GoC visits Trishakti Corps in Bengal

Guwahati/IBNS: Lieutenant General Anil Chauhan, General Officer Commanding in Chief, Eastern Command arrived at Sukna, West Bengal on Monday on a four days visit to Trishakti Corps and its formations.

On arrival at Sukna, the Army Commander was received by Lieutenant General Nav K Khanduri, General Officer Commanding, Trishakti Corps and was briefed on the operational, training and logistics issues.

On Tuesday, the Army Commander accompanied by GOC Trishakti Corps visited the field formations and units and the next day he visited forward areas in Nathu La.

On Thursday, the Army Commander visited various other formations at Bengdubi Military Station and was briefed on the operational preparedness and administrative aspects by the formation commanders.

The Army Commander emphasized the need for remaining ready at all times to meet the emerging security challenges to all ranks.
