Don't believe in rumours, follow doctors' advice: PM Modi on Coronavirus scare

New Delhi/IBNS: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday called on people to stay away from rumours and follow the advice of the doctors for prevention of coronavirus

''There are very small things that can help in prevention from Coronavirus. Just take the basic measures and act according to the doc's advice,'' he said.

In his address through video conferencing on Jan Aushadhi Diwas celebrations in Delhi, the Prime Minister said, "The entire world is today learning the tradition of namaste. There are very small things that can help in prevention from Coronavirus. Just take the basic measures and act according to the doc's advice.''

He appealed to people to stay away from rumours.

''I appeal to countrymen to stay away from rumours on coronavirus. In case of any problem, just consult the doctor,'' the PM said.

Thirty one cases of coronavirus have been detected in the country.
