Delhi likely to receive rain, temp likely to touch 42 degrees
New Delhi/UNI: After a brief respite, hot and humid conditions are likely to return in the national capital on Thursday as the maximum temperature is likely to touch 42 degrees Celsius, as per India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The city may see a generally cloudy sky with light rain or drizzle on Thursday. The maximum temperature of the day is likely to hover around 42 degrees Celsius,” IMD predicted.
On Thursday, the minimum temperature in Delhi morning was recorded at 26.6 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.
The relative humidity at 8:30 am was recorded at 46 percent, as per IMD.
Meanwhile, the next six days the temperature is likely to hover between 40 to 42 degrees and there is no prediction of a heatwave in the national capital and its adjoining areas.
Strong surface winds are likely to hit the capital city on June 4, June 5 and June 6 and thereafter the sky will remain clear, informed the IMD.
