New Delhi: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said on Monday his government will replicate Delhi's education model in the state.

Mann, who is on a tour to Delhi with the top officials from Punjab government, said his government will work upon imparting quality education to all the students irrespective of economic backgrounds, a key takeaway from the Delhi's model of education.

"The revolution in education system is discussed across the country. We will replicate the same model in Punjab where students from rich and poor backgrounds will get quality education together. The country will progress this way by learning from each other," he said.

The Punjab CM visited a government school here along with his Delhi counterpart Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy CM Manish Sisodia.

"We must work together to strengthen the education system of the country," Delhi CM said during the visit.

The Punjab CM had also visited a Chirag enclave based Mohalla Clinic Monday with Kejriwal and Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain where he interacted with the staff and the patients.

Mann and the delegation of top Punjab officials are on a two-day visit to 'study improvements' the AAP regime in Delhi has brought in schools, hospitals and primary health clinics, according to the party sources.
