Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan at NCB office for questioning over drug case
Mumbai/IBNS: Three popular Hindi film actors are being grilled by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), which is probing into the drug angle surrounding the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, here on Saturday.
While Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone had reached a NCB guest house in Mumbai's Colaba before 10 am, Kapoor and Khan reached the probe agency's office later.
Padukone is also being jointly grilled with her manager Karishma Prakash by the NCB officials.
Meanwhile, actor Rakul Preet Singh was questioned by the probe agency a day ago.
The NCB has summoned all the four popular Bollywood actors after retrieving WhatsApp chats from the phone of Rajput's actor girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, who has been arrested on drug charges.
The NCB has so far arrested at least a dozen people including Chakraborty's brother Showik, the late Bollywood star's household staff Samuel Miranda and Dipesh Sawant.
NCB is the third central agency to join the probe into the death of Rajput, after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
It has got into action after the ED came across chats pertaining to drug consumption, procurement, usage and transportation in connection with the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.
Rajput was found dead at his own flat in Mumbai's Bandra on Jun 14.
