Danish Ali shunted out by Mayawati's BSP

Lucknow, Aug 7(UNI) Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati on Wednesday made major changes in the Uttar Pradesh party unit and shunted out the leader of the party in the Lok Sabha, Danish Ali, a statement said.

Former Rajya Sabha member Munkad Ali would be the new UP president of the BSP replacing RS Kushawaha, who has been made the general secretary in the national committee.

BSP MP from Jaunpur Shyam Singh Yadav would be the new leader of the party in the Lok Sabha while Ritesh Pandey, who represents Ambedkarnagar LS seat, would be the deputy leader in the house, the statement further said.

However,chief whip of the party Girish Chandra Jatav would continue in the post.
