Modi will arrive at Hakimpet Air Force station by a special IAF Aircraft tomorrow afternoon and will directly go to Bharat Biotech's facility located at Genome valley in Shamirpet on the city outskirts.

According to official sources, Modi will spend about an hour with the executives of Bharat Biotech and review the progress of Covaxin which is now undergoing phase three trials.

Before coming to Hyderabad, he will visit the Pune -based Serum Institute of India which is also developing the vaccine for COVID-19 in collaboration with Astrazeneca and Oxford University..

After his visit to Bharat Biotech, the Prime Minister will return to Hakimpet Air Force station and fly back to Delhi in the evening.

It may be mentioned that Modi had held a video conference with all the Chief Ministers recently and discussed the method pertaining to distribution and administration of COVID-19 vaccine.

Contrary to speculations, Modi may not take part in the ongoing campaigning for the December one Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) election.
