New Delhi: Indian Prime Minister is addressing the nation on Tuesday where he said the situation in the country is much better than many due to timely lockdown.

He warned that 'carelessness' is on the rise in the country.

"We are entering Unlock 2 and the season of cough, fever and cold is also about to start. In such a situation, I am urging countrymen to take care of themselves," Modi said.

He urged authority to implement strict action against those who do not follow lockdown rules properly.

"Timely implementation of lockdown and other decisions have saved the lives of millions of people in India," he said.

"Ever since Unlock1 started in the country, negligence in personal and social behaviour has been increasing," he warned.
