COVID-19 cases in Maharashtra rises to 636, death toll crosses 33

Pune/UNI: The novel coronavirus cases in Maharashtra rose to 635 on Sunday with over 33 deaths.

Coronavirus outbreak has spread in the country across the length and the state has been hit the worst.

According to the health department, the state had a recent death of a 94-year-old corona positive patient on Saturday

Meanwhile, Pune has registered three deaths so far.

State Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said last night that the extension of the lockdown will depend on the compliance of the people.

As per the government of India, the 21-day nationwide lockdown will be in place till April 14.
