New Delhi/UNI: The Congress Thursday slammed the Centre over hike in prices of liquified petroleum gas (LPG) and termed it "fuel loot".

"The Modi government's 'fuel loot' continues everyday in small and big installments," Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala said in a tweet.

The price of domestic cylinder was increased by Rs 3.50 while commercial cylinder by Rs 8 Thursday.

With the latest revision of price, the domestic cylinder will now cost over Rs 1,000 in all the metros across the country.

The 14.2 kg non-subsidised cylinder will now cost Rs 1,003 in the national capital.
