Chennai: GoAir flight hit by aerobridge, no one hurt

Chennai, July 10 (IBNS): A GoAir flight was damaged after it was hit by an aerobridge at Chennai airport here on Friday, media reports said.

As many as 168 passengers were on board when the mishap occurred.

No one was injured in the mishap, reports said.

The aerobridge operator was allegedly talking on his mobile when the mishap occurred, media reports said.

"Passengers were not hurt as the plane was stationary at that time. They later alighted the aircraft from the rear door using a stepladder," a senior officer of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) wsa quoted as saying by The Times of India.
