CBI raids underway in several premises of Congress MP Karti Chidambaram

New Delhi/UNI: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is conducting searches in nine premises and offices linked to Congress MP Karti P Chidambaram in connection with a case related to alleged foreign remittance, CBI sources said here on Tuesday.

CBI sources said the sleuths of CBI are carrying out searches at various locations across the country including Chennai.

The sources said the raids are being done in a case related to allegedly foreign remittance.

Meanwhile, Chidambaram took a dig at the CBI and wrote in a social media post, "I have lost count, how many times has it been? Must be a record."

Karti is the son of former Union Finance Minister and senior Congress leader P Chidambaram.
