Calcutta University starts online admission system

Kolkata, May 23 (IBNS): With the West Bengal government announcing online entrance system from this year in all colleges of the state, the University of Calcutta on Friday finalised this system.
After Jadavpur University (JU) and Presidency University, the University of Calcutta University (CU) has now finalized this system. 
 
From this session, all 134 colleges under CU except autonomous, self-financed and minority educational institutions, will admit students by online admission process.
 
CU will post all details on their official website on June 3. Online application for admission procedure will be started on June 10.
 
Students can apply online for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Every applicant can apply in maximum 15 colleges and for maximum 15 courses in every college. 
 
Students have to apply separately for honours and general courses.
 
This is the first time, CU will publish 4 round merit lists.
