Bulandshahr : Three children shot dead

Bulandshahr, May 25(UNI) Three children were shot dead by unidentified criminals in Dhaturi vilalge under Kotwali police station area on Saturday.

Police said that the bodies were found near a tubewell bore two bullets marks each.

The deceased have been identified as Asma, Aleem and Abdullah, all in the age group of 9 to 11 years and were natives of Faislabad locality of the city.

The children, all neighbours, were missing since Friday night. The families had informed police in the night but the police did not act.

A manhunt has been launched to nab the culprits.

Meanwhile, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) N Kolanchi has suspended two policemen, including the SHO of the Kotwali for dereliction of duty. The suspended policemen are Kotwali incharge Dhrub Bhushan Dubey and munshi Ashok Sharma.
