BSF officials recover over 2.25 Kg of heroin from IB

Jalandhar/UNI: Border Security Force (BSF) on Saturday recovered 2.232 Kg of heroin from the international border in Ferozepur district of Punjab.

Its value in the international market is estimated to be around 12 crores.

A BSF spokesman said that more than 494kg of heroin have been recovered so far this year.

In addition, BSF have arrested 93 people on charges of crossing the Indian border and killed ten Pakistani intruders.

Moreover, 67 magazines, 740 cartridges, 6 Pak mobiles, 10 SIM cards and 39 weapons have been also recovered.
