| @indiablooms | Jan 31, 2024, at 10:06 pm

The BSF troopers carried out a precision-intelligence-based, meticulously planned and sharply executed operation that led to the busting of the transborder narco syndicate.

A BSF spokesperson said the troopers seized nine consignments of heroin (4.369kg) and one of ICE methamphetamine (968gms) sent through drones from Pakistan along with a pistol and four rounds of ammunition.

A total Rs 70.140 in cash was confiscated from them.

He said the Indian smugglers were in contact with Pakistani smuggler Rana, his brother and another Pakistani smuggler Saha through video calls, all of whom were identified as key players in the syndicate.

The operation led to the apprehension of four smugglers and efforts are underway to locate two more absconding miscreants.
