#BoycottMillennials trends on Twitter after Nirmala Sitharaman's comment

New Delhi, Sept 11 (IBNS): A comment by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has triggered the trending of a hashtag- #BoycottMillennials.

Nirmala said the mindsets of millennial were adversely affecting the automobile industry.

She was quoted as saying by India Today in a press conference on Tuesday: "Some studies do tell us that mindset of millennials, who are now preferring not to commit an EMI (equated monthly installment) for buying an automobile, instead prefer to take Ola, Uber, everything else, or take the Metro."

The statement did not go down well with the Millenials and they started posting their opinion on the social media.

Some of the tweet reactions are as given below:

One Praveen said: "#BoycottMillennials CBI is not Getting enough case due to CID is now coming both in Voot and hotstar #SayItLikeNirmalaTai

Kshitish said: "I paid my OLA Bill. You too can contribute and help."

Another Nitin said: " That’s why we say boycott them save our economy #BoycottMillennials."
