BJP workers arrested for putting up 'missing posters' for Mulayam

Azamgarh, Dec 30 (IBNS): Police arrested four Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers on Monday for allegedly putting up posters declaring Mulayam Singh Yadav, 75, ‘missing’ in his constituency Azamgarh, media reports said.

The BJP workers, who are out on bail, were booked for charges of defamation as they showed disrespect for the Member of Parliament (MP), sources said.

Yadav had won the election from both Mainpuri and Azamgarh seat but later he gave up Mainpuri from where his grand-nephew Tej Pratap Singh won the by-polls.
