BJP veteran L K Advani arrives in Shimla

Shimla, Jun 22 (UNI) Former Deputy Prime Minister and veteran BJP leader Lal Krishan Advani, alongwith his daughter and other family members, today arrived at Shimla on seven day personal visit to the State.

On his arrival at annadale helipad, Advani was received by Irrigation and Public Health Minister Mahender Singh, Health Minister Vipin Singh Parmar, Transport and Forest Minister Govind Thakur, State BJP President Satpal Satti, former MP Bimla Kashyap, Chairman, HIMFED Ganesh Dutt, Mayor Kusum Sadarate, OSD to Chief Minister Mahender Dharmani, BJP leader Dr. Pramod Sharma, Deputy Commissioner, Shimla Amit Kashyap and other prominent citizens of the town.

Advani will remain in Shimla from June 22 to 28 and is scheduled to stay in a newly built hospitality unit at Mashobra, about 15 km from this town.

Advani took halt at Raj Bhawan shortly and would leave to Mashobra. He was accompanied by his daughter and other family members. He is schedule to left Delhi on Jun 28.
