New Delhi, May 25 (UNI) Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari on Saturday met senior Congress leader and former Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, whom he defeated by over 3.66 lakh votes in the North east Delhi seat.

Tiwari, who has retained his seat, met Ms Dikshit at her residence here, and sought her blessings.

It may be mentioned that BJP won all the seven parliamentary seats in Delhi while its rival parties Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Congress failed to open its account in the general elections.

In 2014 Lok Sabha elections also, the BJP managed to win seven seats.
