BJP-JDU close battle as counting for Bihar Legislative Council Elections is underway
Patna, Jul 10 (IBNS) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led NDA and Janata Dal-United (JDU) appears to be in a close battle as counting of votes for the Legislative Council elections in Bihar is underway with initial results trickling in.
In the latest results, while the BJP bagged two seats – Chapra and Aurangabad, the JDU won the Nalanda seat, reports said.
The JDU is also leading in Gaya-Jahanabad-Arwal area while its ally RJD is ahead in Hajipur.
