Bhutan Prime Minister to visit India this week
New Delhi, Dec 24 (IBNS): Prime Minister of Bhutan Lyonchhen Dr. Lotay Tshering will pay a State visit to India from Dec 27 to Dec 29 on the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, officials said.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Economic Affairs and other senior officials from the Royal Government of Bhutan will be accompanying the Prime Minister of Bhutan, said a statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs.
The state visit is taking place during the Golden Jubilee year of the establishment of formal diplomatic relations between India and Bhutan.
During the visit, the visiting Prime Minister will call on the President and Vice-President of India and hold talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
