Bengaluru police prohibits Togadia's entry
Bengaluru, Feb 3 (IBNS) Senior Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Praveen Togadia has been banned by the Bengaluru police from entering the city from February 5 to 10.
Police on Tuesday issued a notice prohibiting his entry for the period.
Togadia was expected be present at a VHP convention alled the 'Hindu Viraat Samavesha' on February 8.
Reports attributed the ban on his entry to the VHP leader's past record of making provocative statements.
VHP is scheduled to onduct 'Ghar Wapsis' in Karnataka after the January 8 convention.
